Another 2.3 earthquake shook East Tennessee on July 27, according to the United States Geological Survey. The minor earthquake had an epicenter just east of Knoxville in Mascot, Tennessee.
The quake could be felt in parts of the Carolinas, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia and Virginia, according to early data from USGS.
