A new report suggests that EA has laid off "between 300 and 400" people, including around 100 developers at Respawn, and canceling what would've been a Titanfall extraction shooter.
Per Bloomberg, EA cut more than 300 jobs, with about a third of those affecting Respawn Entertainment, the studio behind Titanfall, Apex Legends, and the Star Wars Jedi games.
A recent report sheds some light on this situation, which claims one of those projects was an unannounced Titanfall game, and that the layoffs impact the whole of Electronic Arts.
As for Black Ops 7, Activision has not announced a release date yet, but a report said the game will launch on November 14, which would give Battlefield 6 about a month's space.
