Gov. Wes Moore argued Maryland must not let President Donald Trump take power by withholding federal funds for a new Francis Scott Key Bridge.

"I gave Wes Moore a lot of money to fix his demolished bridge," Trump wrote. "I will now have to rethink that decision."

Though the feud between Trump and Moore began with sharp barbs over Baltimore’s crime rates, it has now evolved into a political standoff with sweeping national economic implications.
