His band is called the Joe Perry Project. The band is comprised of musicians that are very familiar names from the world of classic rock.

Joe Perry announced a series of August performances with his band, The Joe Perry Project, with special guests including his Aerosmith band mates Brad Whitford and Buck Johnson.

Aerosmith members Steven Tyler and Joe Perry reunited for a benefit concert for Janie's Fund in San Francisco. Their joint appearance marked the first time that the two played music together since 2023.
