Rocky, whose legal name is Rakim Mayers, was charged in August 2022 for his role in a pair of confrontations with Terell Ephron -- also known as A$AP Relli -- on the night of Nov. 6, 2021, in Hollywood.

A$AP Rocky declined to testify in his own trial as he faces weapons charges stemming from an alleged 2021 incident at a Hollywood hotel.

After speaking with his lawyer – and likely keeping prosecutors up late preparing for his potential cross-examination – A$AP Rocky decided not testify in his own defense. He confirmed the decision to a judge in the final phase of his felony firearm assault trial in downtown Los Angeles.
