Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia isn’t happy with ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith. Ishbia made it clear that, while he’s not taking seriously Smith’s comments about him being “on the verge of being recognized as the worst owner” ever in basketball, he thinks an apology is coming his way in the near future.

Ishbia might recoup some of these losses because NBA coaches’ contracts aren't generally fully guaranteed like players’ contracts, one expert says.

Stating someone is “on the verge of being recognized as the worst owner” will certainly warrant an apology of some sort.
