The San Francisco 49ers somehow avoided any catastrophic injuries in their Week 8 loss to the Houston Texans despite one player getting carted off.

Houston held Christian McCaffrey to 68 yards with a plan that started up front and also included the Texans' offense.

San Francisco fans seemed to flood NRG Stadium in a large showing for the Week 8 game, according to videos and photos shared on social media by local reporters and fans present at the stadium. The veteran edge rusher logged his fourth sack of the year in the fourth quarter of the game on Jones to secure Houston's third win of the season, and effectively keep them just one game under .500 entering the halfway point of the new year.
