Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, site of the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by Mastercard on the PGA Tour, opened in 1961 with a design by Dick Wilson. Arnold Palmer took over the property on lease in 1970, bought it in 1975 and made adjustments to the course multiple times over the following decades.
After storms flooded Bay Hill's beach bunker last year, the par-3 17th will play slightly different for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Bay Hill's curious historyBay Hill’s design has always been fascinating to me. For one thing, it's rather hilly, a rarity in Florida (although not in the Orlando market) and dotted with sinkhole ponds incorporated in the design in dramatic ways.
