CHELSEA, Manhattan (PIX11) — Multiple pedestrians were hit by a vehicle on 8th Avenue on Monday afternoon, according to the NYPD. The incident happened around 4 p.m. in front of 400 8th Avenue. Police say a box truck heading north on 8th Avenue hit a parked van, causing it to go onto the sidewalk.

An elderly woman was struck by a box truck in Midtown Manhattan Wednesday afternoon, police said. The 83-year-old was crossing the street at E. 45th St. and Second Ave. in East Midtown around 2:22 p.m. As she was in the crosswalk on the south side of E.
