Controversy is brewing over the possibility that the Constitutional Court could issue a ruling in President Yoon Suk Yeol’s impeachment trial one to two weeks earlier in March compared to initial expectations.

The Constitutional Court has not set the schedule for future hearings. If no additional sessions are designated, President Yoon's impeachment trial will conclude with the 8th hearing. In that case, there is speculation that the court could deliver a ruling on the case in March.
