Since the beginning of the offseason, the Celtics have been in seemingly every rumor imaginable. After trading Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis leading up to the draft, it was clear that Boston was ready to undergo some serious changes this summer.

Jayson Tatum was seen at practice — just not on a basketball court. The Celtics star made an appearance at the New England Patriots' joint training camp practice with the Washington Commanders.

Tatum suffered a torn right Achilles tendon on May 12 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals vs. the New York Knicks, and quickly underwent surgery to repair the tear. That began what's expected to be a lengthy recovery process, though no official timetable has been communicated by the Celtics.
