President Donald Trump announced George Strait, Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor and KISS among the first batch of Kennedy Center Honors nominees in his new role as chairman.

Kiss have reacted to US President Trump's announcement that they're to be recipients of this year's Kennedy Center Honors, alongside soul diva Gloria Gaynor, country star George Strait, and actors Sylvester Stallone and Michael Crawford.

On Wednesday, Trump revealed the star-studded lineup of honorees being recognized for their artistic and cultural influence, which in addition to Kiss, also includes country music titan George Strait, English actor and comedian Michael Crawford , Rocky star Sylvester Stallone, and singer Gloria Gaynor.
