Travelers continue to deal with flight cancellations and delays at Newark Airport on Nov. 10 as the 4th day of FAA-mandated flight reductions
An advisory on the Federal Aviation Administration website that tracks flight delays across the US warns that those times are "increasing" in Newark.
Images showed a long line of planes waiting to take off from Newark Liberty International on Sunday, where there were delays of more than four hours.
A line of approximately 40 planes can also be seen in a screenshot of the flight tracking website Flightradar24, shared by X user Zach Griff, at the airport. This comes as flights have been delayed and canceled across the country due to reduced staffing levels as a result of the ongoing federal government shutdown.
The ongoing cancellations come as Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warns air traffic could "slow to a trickle" as Thanksgiving approaches.

Newark Liberty International Airport saw over 120 flights cancelled on Sunday, with some delays spilling over into JFK International Airport and LaGuardia Airport.
Passengers at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey can expect flights to be delayed by an average of 40 minutes, the FAA said.
