The 2025 NFL Draft is officially in the books, and plenty of teams stole the headlines for their decisions over the weekend. The Jacksonville Jaguars stole the show early by trading up for Travis Hunter, while the Browns got all of the fanfare late with their selection of Shedeur Sanders in Round 5.

Shedeur Sanders’ NFL Draft stock plummeted after teams called his interviews “an absolute disaster,” citing disrespect and poor preparation.

Shedeur Sanders' drop in the NFL draft led to record ratings for the final day. Saturday's telecast of rounds four through seven — Sanders was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round — was the most-watched on record.

"I did not ever get any intel that the Cleveland Browns had him ranked high on their board," Russini said at the 14:45 mark of Tuesday's Scoop City podcast. "I think they saw that he was available in the fifth round, they met, they discussed it, and they went for it. They took a chance that maybe he can turn into something and be a player."

The Cleveland Browns are off a successful NFL Draft, where general manager Andrew Berry made seven selections that will help the Browns now and in the future.
