A man accused of fatally shooting an “American Idol” music supervisor and her husband in Los Angeles will undergo a mental evaluation to determine if he's fit to stand trial.

The man accused of fatally shooting American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, appeared in court on Wednesday, Aug. 20, for arraignment, but the judge had suspect Raymond Boodarian's case transferred to a mental health court, according to documents viewed by Entertainment Weekly.

Raymond Boodarian is facing multiple murder and burglary charges for the July 10 slayings in the couple's Encino home.
