Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich announced Thursday that Rodney Hinton Jr., 38, has been indicted on two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder, and two counts of felonious assault.

The driver of the car, 38-year-old Rodney Hinton Jr., was charged with aggravated murder in the deputy’s death, police said.

Although a lawsuit has been filed against Cincinnati police and the Hamilton County jail in Rodney Hinton Jr.'s name, his criminal lawyer says Hinton had nothing to do with it.

Hinton Jr. was denied bond at a Tuesday court hearing in Cincinnati. He is charged with aggravated murder for the May 2 killing of Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Henderson.
