The body of a young Ukrainian woman who died in Russian captivity after being held incommunicado for many months was returned to Ukraine with several organs removed and showing signs of torture, Ukrainian prosecutors have said.

Ukrainian journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna was tortured during the time she spent in Russian detention, and several of her organs, including her brain, were removed before her body was returned,

Russia returned Vicktoriia Roshchyna's emaciated body with signs of torture and some organs removed, possibly to hide further traces of torture, the report said.

Swarms of Russian drones attacked the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Dnipro late on Tuesday, killing at least one person and injuring at least 46, officials said. Kharkiv, which lies in the northeast near the Russian border and is Ukraine's second-largest city,
