The London-Laurel Rescue Squad reports that people were rescued from a home on Laurel River Road late Monday night due to flooding in Laurel County.

For many years, the tornado siren on Glendale Road was not functioning but currently it is working properly, according to Murray Chief of Police Sam Bierds.
