Gilbert Arenas, a three-time NBA All-Star, was indicted for the alleged operation of an illegal gambling ring at his California home, according to the Justice Department.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas was arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 30. Arenas has been accused of operating an illegal gambling business in 2021 and 2022, the Department of Justice said.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, a member of an Israeli transnational organized crime group and four others were arrested for allegedly operating an illegal gambling and poker ring.

Arenas' trial is scheduled for Sept. 23, and he could face up to 15 years in prison if found guilty on all three charges. The three-time All-Star hopes to snitch his way out of this.
