#WildlifeWednesday FUN FACTS ABOUT COYOTES: The word “coyote” comes from the Aztec word coyotl, meaning “trickster”. They inhabit all 67 counties in Florida and are opportunistic omnivores- eating small prey, rabbits, insects, eggs, and grasses. Coyotes are social animals and communicate through a variety of yips, barks, and howls.
