Crews recently opened the SR 46 bridge over Yellow Creek in Dickson County following a complete reconstruction. Work consisted of demolishing the existing eight-barrel box culvert bridge and replacing it with a new three-span bridge! Crews also raised the grade of the route by about two feet and re-aligned two side roads as part of this project. In all, crews poured about 500 cubic yards of concrete for this job.
