This is a shorter verson on how to find available campsites for a range of dates, review the site inventory data to ensure the site will accomodate the camping equipment, proceed with making the reservation and providing payment. | Dale Hollow Lake

June 3, 2024: Today the spill gates at Dale Hollow were closed and spill operations have ceased. The lake levels will continue to be regulated via the production of clean electricity through the hydropower plant. The video shows that each of the six gates are adjusted manually by the plant staff. They descend into the shaft and hand open the gates wider so that any drift or debris can wash thru and not get caught in the opening. Once the opening is free of debris, they manually close each gate.
