A great way to blend coloured pencils is to use the burnishing method. The burnishing technique involves adding lots of pressure to your coloured pencils during the final stages of layering. Burnishing helps fuse all of the layers of coloured pencil together and leaves an ultra smooth result. TIP: Make sure you leave burnishing until your final layers because burnishing flattens the tooth of the paper, preventing the paper from being able to grip onto more layers of pencil. #coloredpencil #drawi
