TURNING TO EXTENDED POSES ✨ THINK ABOUT THIS! 👇 Turning to an extended pose such as arabesque can be very tricky! This is where opposition is really really helpful. When extending to arabesque, pushing the hips forwards in the opposite way as you extend is really key. It’s always a balance between understanding what the body “wants to do” ( go with your leg ) and what we “need” it to do. ( stay in the same place) Once you understand that we then work out how to acheive this. Ballet is physics.
