NASCAR fans predictably flipped out on Michael Waltrip (for no reason)

August 10th, 2008, the Centurion Boats at the Glen. On lap 83 coming out of turn 11, Michael McDowell would come up into David Gilliland, causing Gilliland to hit the tire barrier. Due to the impact from the tire barrier, Gilliland would shoot back across the track into traffic. Having nowhere to go, Bobby Labonte would hit Gilliland hard.
