Just because you’re functioning doesn’t mean you’re okay. High-functioning depression often looks like getting things done, showing up for everyone else, and feeling exhausted or empty underneath it all. People may see you as capable or strong, while you’re quietly carrying more than anyone realizes. Telling yourself “other people have it worse” doesn’t make depression go away.
