We took a [cold] Saturday morning hike with friends in the Hanging Rock State Park area. We were headed to the site of a 1963 plane crash where 2 people were killed, and 3 survived. This has been on my abandoned bucket list for a minute, so I'm glad it came together for our group of curious adventurers. It was pretty windy hike, but felt so energizing to be in the middle of the woods with brisk air and clear views of the Blue Ridge in Virginia, Moore's Knob, and the skyline of Winston Salem. The
