Cumberland Falls, also known as The Niagara of the South, is a waterfall that is on average 120 feet wide and 65 feet tall. The water flow changes depending on the amount of rainfall in the surrounding area. This area was almost transformed into a hydropower dam, which would have diverted all of the water away from Cumberland Falls.
