Mistake no 2 and it can kill your expensive discus. You want them to grow so you feed them a lot. But any uneaten food is very dangerous. Growing discus needs many small feeds and no left overs. If you have time for that all is good but i still prefer the idea of not starting with 2 inch fish unless you really know what youre doing.
