Danny Deraney on Instagram: "56 years ago today, Frosty The Snowman debuted on CBS. Rankin/Bass wanted to give the movie a greeting card feel. They hired Paul Coker, an artist from MAD magazine and a greeting cards animator. It was the most watched show for that week in 1969, and has never left the airwaves. The narrator was of course was Jimmy Durante, who was one of the first artists ever to record the song, Frosty The Snowman. It would be his last role. #reels #trending #film #christmas #snow
