Peggy’s Peacock Palace, a beloved local animal attraction and sanctuary, is facing changes — but owner Peggy Williams remains committed to the mission and the animals as financial struggles force the exhibit and rescue to scale back. “Everything’s supported by my job,” Williams explained. “I’ve been working about 60 hours a week for about the past year… but they lost the government contract I was doing the overtime on.
